Cancel a ticket and get a refund

Cancel a paid event ticket yourself before the deadline, and what happens when an event is cancelled.

Cancel a ticket yourself

  1. Open [My purchases](/account/purchases).
  2. Find the event and click Cancel ticket. Underneath, you can see how long free cancellation lasts (for example Free until in 3 hours).
  3. Confirm with Yes, cancel.

The full amount goes back to your original payment method — usually within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. A refund removes your access to the event.

> The cancellation deadline is set by the host for each event — by default 5 hours before the start. For a repeating event it's counted from the next session. After the deadline the ticket can't be cancelled.

If the event is cancelled

If the host or Platonix cancels the event, you're refunded in full automatically — you don't need to do anything.

Videos and journeys

There's no cancel button for videos and journeys. If you're a consumer in the EU, EEA, UK or a country with an equivalent right, you can withdraw within 14 days of purchase as long as you haven't started watching — [contact us](/support?topic=refunds) with your invoice number.
