Play, pause, skip, change quality and speed, keep watching in a small window, and like, save or share.

Play a video

Click or tap any video. The player shows play / pause, skip back and forward 10 seconds, a progress bar and full screen.

  • Full screen: on a phone, the video turns sideways; turn your phone to landscape.
  • Keep watching while you browse: on iPhone swipe the video down to shrink it into a mini player; tap it to open it again. On iPhone and Android you can also leave the app and the video keeps playing in a small floating window (picture in picture).
  • Quality and speed: on Android tap Settings in the player; on the website use the player's settings button.
  • Captions: when a video has subtitles, the captions button appears in the player.

Under the video

Like, Save (to watch later), Share and the creator's channel with Follow. Comments are under the video on the website and on iPhone, and on Bytes in all apps. Suggested for you lists what to watch next.

Paid and upcoming videos

  • A lock means the video needs a purchase. On the website and on Android click Unlock to buy it. In the iPhone app, buy it on [platonix.ch](/) and it unlocks in the app too.
  • A countdown means the video isn't released yet. It starts playing automatically at release time.
